Don't understand

I don't get it. Why do some women get disappointed to find out they are having a boy. The lady that makes my coffee found out she is having a boy. Then she tells me she was hoping for a girl. She has no kids so it isn't like she has 5 boys and thinks it would be nice to have a girl as well.
I am truly blessed to have one of each. And am so glad. I have a special bond with each of my children My boy is special to me as well. When we found out we were having a boy I was thrilled. I just don't understand. I am so one of those ladies that truly just wanted healthy kids.
I also find that boys are really fun. They love to play rough, get dirty and go on adventures. Good times.
