Thank you cards
I am sitting down to write the Christmas thank you cards and I got to wondering. Does anyone care if I send them? Does it mean something to people to get them? I know it is good to send for birthdays and baby showers and weddings. But what about just getting gifts or Christmas. Especially when I am the only one who does them. Sure the kids help a little but what it your thought and what is right? Thanks

Someone once told me that its proper to send a thank you card if the person is not there to watch you open the gift. If the person was there to watch you, then you could thank them immediately and a card would not be necessary.
